MR CHOW, a pioneer in fine dining, opened its first restaurant in Knightsbridge, London, on Valentine’s Day in 1968. Michael Chow, the founder, introduced a unique concept of authentic Beijing cuisine paired with elegant European-style service. The restaurant boasts one of London’s most stunning dining rooms, designed by Michael, who was among the first to feature original artwork in a dining space.

The restaurant’s success led to the opening of several locations in the USA, starting with the Beverly Hills restaurant in 1974. The first New York location opened in 1979 on 57th Street, followed by the second in Tribeca in 2006. In the summer of 2009, the fifth location opened at the W Hotel in Miami Beach, followed by the sixth at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in 2016.

Over the years, MR CHOW’s creative chefs have developed many original recipes, including the famous Chicken Satay, MR CHOW Noodles, and Green Prawns. MR CHOW is also renowned for being the first restaurant to offer nightly entertainment featuring a chef performing original hand-pulled Beijing-style noodle making.
